Birthday Bash: A Fun & Magical Encanto Party

0

When I asked Everleigh what she wanted for her birthday, all she wanted was a REALLY BIG birthday bash.

She had never had a party, outside of her 1st birthday due to COVID, so what she got was a REALLY BIG party with a theme that was so new that it made it tricky to make happen.

If you’re in a similar pickle of making Encanto magic happen ASAP, here’s how we made it work before Party City has stocked their shelves with the hottest birthday theme for the rest of the year.

XO,

Laurel

The Venue

Our House was the choice for this epic bash, due to how many people we were anticipating having come to this party, our back yard fit the bill just right.

Everleigh asked us for an Encanto theme, and I went to work brain storming, we needed to have it be colorful festive and lots of fun. Since I own a small company, Cuddly Cactus, that does balloons, I also knew it needed to have lots and lots of those too.

Everleigh also has a big sweet tooth, so I made sure we had plenty of sweets on hand to celebrate our sweet girl.

The Fun

We rented a Big Blue Bouncer from Inflate Forty-Eight, I really liked that the bouncer was open faced and I could keep a close eye on everyone and everything happening in the bouncer, the kids had a great time burning off their energy.

We also had The Enchanted Princess co send us over Mirabel and Isabella. The Characters were a hit with the kids, they red them the story of Encanto, painted faces, and made flowers.

We had kids at the party ages 11 and down and everyone had such a fun time!

Everleigh also wanted to have a pinata, which was a lot of fun to watch all these littles trying to break it open. They did a lot better than I thought they would and it was quickly broken.

The Food

We used our neighborhood Boca Taqueria and had a bunch of mini chimi’s made up, since our party was in-between lunch and dinner we stuck to snack style foods. We had a fruit tower, a veggie and cheese tray, and of course chips with salsa and guacamole.

Evie’s beautiful Encanto themed cake and cake pops came from Sweet ‘Stache the cake was breathtaking, and it tasted even better.

We sent everyone home with our new obsession we found at the Eastmark farmers market, freeze dried skittles, from Floss N Freeze Sweets. They are so good, and they even offered us to make individual party favor size, it was perfect!

At the end of the party we had Mobile Sugar Shack swing by and everyone in attendance got to pick a cool treat from their ice cream truck, it was the perfect ending to a warm day.
