5 local AZ mom/women podcasts you should bingeOne selfish reason for daily stroller breakfast walks for me is the time to zone out with a podcast. I learn so much, and it gives me a mental break from kid content that I’m about to binge for the rest of the day being with my three-year-old.

We’ve rounded up our favorite mom-centric podcasts that are made by moms right here in Arizona. While their podcasts aren’t state forty-eight focused, it’s fun to know the moms recording them are just down the road from us, and it’s nice to support our own.

XO,

Amy

Community on Purpose

  • What you’ll hear: Mindy Jones, a local business owner, boy mom and nonprofit founder based in Chandler, Arizona, interviews weekly guests who are intentionally creating community through business, giving and living.
  • Favorite episode: I shared so much about my personal journey of transforming the culture behind East Valley Moms rebrand three years ago when I purchased the business, it’s a fun listen for regular readers of the blog!  Listen here.

The Purpose Gathering

  • What you’ll hear:  Encouragement for fellow mompreneurs to experience success in both business + motherhood. These episodes are usually short and sweet and packed with tangible tips to put into practice (and she’s a homeschool mama!)
  • Favorite episode: This episode was a game changer for me as a mom juggling business and a homeschool toddler. Ashley gives tips for getting work done with kids at home that aren’t just another episode of Bluey. Listen here.

Make it Simple

  • What you’ll hear: Host Andera Allen is a goldmine of useful tips for wellness. She’s a mom to 4 girls under 7, wife to a mountain man, a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Owner of DFH Training. Her pregnancy and postpartum wellness tips are realistic and the episodes are easy to listen to for inspiration to stay on track for goals you’ve set for yourself.
  • Favorite episode: Burnout and mental load are all things I’ve really struggled with as a mompreneur, so these topics always get my attention. Listen here.

The Mom Voice

  • What to expect: Although they’re on a brief hiatus for 2023, there’s four years of backlogged episodes to binge! This is the most ‘mom’ podcast on our roundup, and it’s fun to listen in to two mom friends chat all things motherhood, from screen time to family vacations. If you’re missing girlfriend chatter, this podcast is a fun, chatty option.
  • Favorite episode: Although we travel a lot, I have not been a confident house host for overnight guests since Maverick was born. This episode encouraged me that I can be a good host, even with a smaller house and toys everywhere! Listen here.
