Today we’re sharing the best local East Valley Halloween and fall play dates for babies and toddlers. 

We’ve all been disappointed when so many fall festivals are later in the evening, which just doesn’t work with littles all the time. Most of these will have you home in time for nap time.

Spooky Splash at Swimhaus

Join East Valley Moms for a spooky swim family fun day on October 24, 2024, from 9:30 – 11 a.m. $5 per family, RSVP here.

We’ll dive into the fun at Swimhaus in Gilbert with so many fun mommy and me fall activities to including:

  • Pumpkin painting station
  • Floating pumpkin patch, each child can leave with one pumpkin
  • Mommy and Me open swim in 90 degree indoor pool water with Swimhaus lifeguards 
  • Safe, indoor trick or treating trail 

Trick or treat trail at Epicenter 

Join East Valley Moms for FREE trick or treat trail through Epicenter to kickoff our fall play date series and take advantage of outdoor play season! Plus, there’ll be treats for moms as well–chances to win at select retailers though Epicenter. 

Trial run your kiddo’s Halloween costumes as they take part in this trick-or-treat trail from 10-11 a.m. through Epicenter participating retailers–look for the bright orange “trick or treat here” flier in the windows.

Come early on October 30  for more fun starting at 9:30 a.m., including:

  • Stroller walk led by Let’s Stroll (scooters, bikes, strollers, etc. all welcome!)
  • Spooky story time
  • Villain character visit by Enchanted Princess Company 

Halloween Boo at Mesa Library

Offered three times during Halloween week, different library branches in Mesa will host a costumed Halloween party.

Bring your treat bag to this special preschool Halloween event where kids can show off their spooky spirit and gather ghoulish goodies. More information here.

Toddler Time Halloween at Chandler Library 

Head to a spook-tacular Halloween Storytime followed by little trick or treating practice for littles. Toddler Time storytime includes stories, songs and interactive play!

Halloween Parties at The Playhouse 

There’s two character parties happening during spooky season at The Playhouse. Tickets required for both.

  • Pumpkin Painting with Cinderella – Join us for painting, dancing, singing and more! Saturday October 12th – 2-4pm
  • Halloween Bash with The Villains – Trick or Treat bag decorating, dancing and more! Saturday October 26th- 4-6pm

Screamin’ Green Hauntoween event at Crayola Experience

Crayola Experience Chandler is bringing back their Screamin’ Green Hauntoween event at Crayola Experience through Oct 31 for spooky family fun!
Enjoy 15+ hands on attractions and dress up for all of our spooky happenings: a themed scavenger hunt, creating monster-ific crafts, and trick or treating on weekends!
Open daily at 10 a.m. inside the Chandler Fashion Center mall. (Get $3 off tickets when you purchase online!)

Boo-tastic Activities at the Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix is offering kids and their families three days of spooktacular Halloween fun with Trick-or-Treat at the Museum, October 26th, 27th, and 31st from 9am to 4pm.

Little ghosts and ghouls are invited to trick-or-treat through the Museum, monster mash on the dance floor, create a Spooky Tree in the Art Studio, take part in a fashion fright show, and explore three floors of imaginative exhibits!

Best day time pumpkin patch

Mother Nature’s Farm is perfect for babies and toddler aged kiddos.

Arrive at  9 a.m. they open to visit and feed the farmyard animals,, take a hayride, and take all the pumpkin photos you wish with multiple pumpkin patches. Plus, each ticketed attendee gets to take a pumpkin home.
