  1. Uncle Bears Brewery in Mesa, Gilbert & Queen Creek | Recommendation by Amy
Kids eat free on Wednesday and the Gilbert location has pinball games to pass the time away, I mean growing up when we went to a restaurant with pinball games- that was like the JACKPOT.
The restaurant is also dog friendly, should fido want to join. Or, the other dogs there act as entertainment for kids.
  2. Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers in Gilbert  | Recommendation by Amy

This Gilbert location (formerly Famous 66) has a huge wrap around patio, plus kids eat free on Tuesdays. On the first Tuesday of the month, a vintage car show takes over the parking lot from 5-7 p.m., adding extra entertainment, for FREE!

  1. Hair of the Dog in Gilbert | Recommendation by Jackie

Not only family friendly, but dog friendly as well, Hair of the Dog is the perfect place to grab a drink and hang out with your family. They have a great patio along with tons of family friendly games which makes for easy kid entertainment. Hair of the Dog is also BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) so we love to pack a bag full of kid friendly snacks, order pizza, or grab a bite from the food trucks that come through once or twice a week.

  1. Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert | Recommended by Maile

Joe’s farm grill offers the best patio for families, featuring large patio seating and space to move around. Plus they make birthdays even sweeter with a free meal on your birthday!

  1. OHSO in Downtown Gilbert | Recommended by Barbara

With free arcade games and plenty of space to run around, OHSO is our favorite spot to bring our kids (and our dog). Their weekend beer brunch is a must try. Brunch entrees include a monster mimosa or a 12oz beer.

  1. Creek Side Taco Shack in Queen Creek | Recommended by Maile

Tacos, margaritas, and a giant sand area, say no more! My kids could’ve played here ALL day. The drinks were amazing, the food was delicious, and my kids were entertained for hours! The patio had shade and plenty of tables, there were also fire pits, and they have misters in the summer. This is definitely a spot you can go to year round. They had a few tvs around the bar top, and it’s dog friendly so truly a great spot for friends and multiple families.

  1. The Farm at South Mountain

Dining on a farm–need we say more!? Dine at picnic tables under pecan trees with ample free space for kids to run around while adults chat and relax. Yard games are also available, plus there’s chickens, ducks, turkeys and more for kids to be entertained by.

There are multiple restaurants on site. We dined at The Farm Kitchen, which serves salads and sandwiches, plus local craft beers, wines and cocktails.
