Are you ready to see some more of the Makeover Magic winners? The staff at Luxe Salon and Spa are amazing and so was our photographer, Niomee B of Niomee B Photography and our stylist Heather of The Purple Skirt!
Our winners were pampered with a variety of services including a spray tan, chair massage, Shellac manicure, brow wax, hair cut, color and style and makeup application by the amazing stylists and artists at Luxe.
Today we are featuring four women- Ashley L., Christina H., Kim S. and Marty B.
1. Ashley L. is an amazing, beautiful, single mom of three who has not been able to work because her 9-year-old son is battling cancer and is currently hospitalized and undergoing surgeries and chemotherapy.
2. Christina H., a devoted, selfless children’s teacher and ballet director who recently lost a close mentor and friend and is battling to become a mom while nurturing her students. While it is common for the ballet world to be competitive and tough on dancers, Ms. Christina focuses on their self esteem and well being, finding them dance scholarships, providing transportation and even devoting her Sundays to private lessons.
3.Kim S. is a local second grade teacher and Girl Scout Leader who founded a bicycle safety non-profit for kids. Called the Brett Saks Foundation, it is named after her husband, who was hit and killed by a driver under the influence of sleeping pills while training for a 600 mile charity ride. 4. Marty B., a spunky, dedicated southern belle who after losing several family members in the last two years, including her father and sister, was charged with taking care of all the family details. Her husband was promoted and they have been apart across the country for many months until their house in Georgia sold. She packed the whole house herself and moved to Arizona to be with him. The makeover was a welcome to her new home in the desert.
Don’t they look gorgeous? Our winners were thrilled with their new looks and we were so happy to be a part of their experience! Heather with The Purple Skirt did an amazing job styling them and helping them to think “out of the box” with pieces that accentuate and flatter them in all the right places. Heather generously offered each winner a discount at her chic boutique. We also need to give a shout out to Lane Bryant at San Tan Village for some great pieces too! Niomee with Niomee B Photography did an incredible job capturing them in these gorgeous photos! Each winner also received a digital copy of their after look to commemorate their special day. And let’s not forget the staff at Luxe Salon and Spa for the gorgeous hair, makeup and of course the pampering!
