With more than 50 years of tradition, the annual Veterans Day Parade on Monday, Nov. 11 honors all military veterans.
The parade route starts at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium and heads north on Mill Avenue, concluding at Tempe Beach Park (Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway). The parade steps off at 10 a.m.
Veterans Day Parade participants include members of the Tempe City Council, various Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, local school marching bands, community members, veterans groups and many more. It is truly a homegrown family event.
After the parade, head to Tempe Beach Park for entertainment and a resource fair featuring city resources that can assist active duty military, veterans and their families.
