Now, onto our interview of the panel!

Cyndi, what inspired you to create Reveal? I created Reveal because I had some major breakthroughs of my own a a women’s event about 3 years ago. That weekend my eyes were opened to new and tangible ways I could reach my goals and break old habits. My life truly began that weekend and I knew that I wanted to share these feelings and this knowledge with as many people as I could…It became my goal to show other women that there is a better way, and we can have it all in life.

Jill, what is the best advice you have for those wanting to start a business?  The best piece of advice I have for someone starting a business is asking for help! Find people who can help you in areas you’re not great in and use them as the experts. I know I’m not great at everything. Outsourcing for help has been a game changer with my balance, time, and energy. The best part is most people will do it out of the kindness of their hearts to support you in achieving your vision because they believe in you! Asking for help has been the biggest time saver and it’s given me time to put focus in areas I’m great in to help grow and develop my business.

Angela, How do you balance being a mom and owning a business? I try to set hours for business and hours for mom life. Sometimes they mix together and we just go with the flow. But as a working mom and REALLY try to soak up every minute with the kids and not take any of it for granted.

Lindsey, How do you maintain a healthy & active lifestyle?  Advice for women who want to start living a healthy & active lifestyle? Find a form of exercise that you enjoy doing, so that you’re more likely to stick with it! I also work best when I have accountability–either hiring a trainer, or planning to work out with a friend.

Jill, how do you maintain a healthy & active lifestyle? I schedule it in every single day. Work starts after I drop the kids off at school and my workouts are complete (most days – MOST days). This means starting my day at 11a knowing my work day ends at 4p. I have a supportive husband who believes in similar values (which is important  and we adjust our individual schedules to make sure each of us gets to fulfill their fitness goals for the day.

Cyndi, favorite things to do in AZ (with and without kids)? Our family loves to be outdoors, so if we are home and our kids don’t have activities, you will find us out front playing together as a family or messing with the many “toys” my husband collects. We also love hiking Brown Mountain in Mesa, it’s the perfect little hike for families! We all really love the simplicity of being at home together since we live a very active and busy life between work and the kids sports. My husband and I love to sneak away for dates in Downtown Gilbert..it’s just a few miles from our house and has all of our favorite restaurants. We also share a love for exercise, so catching a workout together is always something we are always grateful for

Such great advice for balancing motherhood, career and self-care!  We are looking forward to hearing more from Cyndi, Lindsey, Angela and Jill at Reveal and hope that you’ll join us too!  Purchase your tickets here:  www.revealevent.eventbrite.com.
