Where to stay in Show Low with Kids

Arrow Creek Lodge is an incredible vacation rental (sleeps 18!!) that backs to the national forest and offers ample on-property amenities to keep families entertained at the lodge.

Things to do with kids in Show Low in the fall

  • Chase fall leaves: Fall leaves are in their prime from late September through mid October.
  • Fall festival parade: 2024 dates hasn’t been announced yet, but check back once you have your travel dates to catch this small town parade that welcomes fall 
  • The Willis Farm – Seasonal farm attraction with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, train ride and more for family fun on a farm. (22 minute drive from Arrow Creek Lodge)
  • Show Low Aquatics Center – Open year round, this indoor pool boasts a water slide, pool basketball, zero depth entry and spray fountain, plus hot tub for parents. 
  • White Mountain Family Fun Park – Family-friendly go-karts, mini-golf, laser maze, and arcade. Open year round.

Amenities kids will love at Arrow Creek Lodge: The Bunkroom

We’ve stayed at a lot of rentals, and this bunkroom was unrivaled–from the eight-bed bunkroom making every night a sleepover for kids, this huge bunkroom boasts incredible energy burners for kids including:

  • 8 foot mountain mural transformed into a rock climbing wall with grip heights of varying difficulty (gymnastics tumbling mat below)
  • Built-in cabin playhouse with play kitchen, dress up station, and make-believe toys
  • 5-foot playground rated tube slide into the bunkroom
  • Curated selection of forest and animal books to inspire love of nature and the national forest

  • Have an epic s’mores fire pit night in the custom fire pit gathering space. 
  • Plan a better-than-the-movies night in the home theater movie room in the basement of the cabin. Reclining chairs, surround sound and even a candy dispensing machine are all part of this incredible movie room.
