Easter Fun & Egg Hunts Around the East Valley

Today we’re sharing local Easter family fun across the East Valley.

Below are some of egg-celent events (sorry, we couldn’t help the pun).

In Chandler: Family Easter Celebration 

When: Friday, March 29, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Price: free

No bunny does Easter like Chandler’s Family Easter Celebration.

Hop along our 24 Karrot Trail collecting eggs and goodies along the way. Find a “Golden Karrot” and win an egg-citing prize. Make sure to bring your basket. Trails are open to little bunnies up to nine years of age. The evening will also be hopping with crafts, amusements, live performances and egg-citement for all. Details here.

 

In Tempe: Hop ’til you Drop Easter Eggstravaganza 

When: Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Price: Free 

Hop into the fun with an epic egg hunt, games, and capture precious moments with your favorite bunny at Tempe Marketplace. Discover over 12,000 pre-filled eggs at participating retailers in The District. More info here.

In Mesa: Free Easter Bunny Photos

When: Bookings open March 16

Price: Free

Free Easter Bunny photos at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa; pre-registration online required, schedule opens seven days in advance. No purchase necessary, each family receives a free 4×6 printed photo. Cell phone photos are allowed. Details here.

In Mesa: Easter Egg-sperience at Vertuccio Farms

When: Saturday, March 30

Price: $18/kid (adults don’t require tickets)

The event will include 4 age-specific Egg Hunts, Easter craft time, Pictures with The Easter Bunny (please bring your camera), a Petting Zoo, and unlimited play on all the Farm Play Structures. Tickets here.

In Mesa: An Eggcelent Cockpit Close-Up

When: Saturday, March 23, 8 – 10 a.m.

Price: free

Cockpit Close-Up is a FREE event to be held 8-10 a.m., generally held the first Saturday of each month, however in March we have a SPECIAL GUEST, don’t put all of your eggs in one basket, come over to the airport terminal building, located at 4800 E. Falcon Drive, for great community and aviation fun! Details here.

In Mesa: Easter Eggstravaganza at downtown Mesa

When: Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Price: free

Start your morning with an egg hunt at The Yard Off Main, then head up and down Main Street for eggs in our local businesses. There will also be games, activities, and free photos with the Easter Bunny! Details here.

In Mesa: Easter Hunt Extravangza

When: March 24-30, times vary for age groups

Price: $18 per first child, $5 additional child

Designed for children ages 0-6, the Village Parent Happiness Center is offering age-specific egg hunts, ensuring a fun and safe experience for all. Each hunt includes an engaging story time, a special egg bag for collecting, and 2 hours of open play in our indoor play area. Details and tickets here.

In Queen Creek: Easter Egg-Citement

When: Saturday, March 23 from 9am – 1pm

Price: free as part of Spring into QC ($12.50 pre-registration, $15 day of event)

Get Ready…Get Set…and Hop on over to join us for Queen Creek’s annual Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt runs throughout the event and is divided into age groups. Participants must provide their own baskets. Bring a smile, sunshine and camera to our annual event!

Be sure to make note of the designated time frame for each hunt and get there early so you don’t miss the fun! The Egg Hunts will start at the designated times and will continue until the last egg has been found. The Egg Hunt is a free activity within the Spring Into QC event. In Apache Junction: Easter Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, March 23 from 9am – 1pm

Price: free

Join the City of Apache Junction Parks and Recreation at our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at Prospector Park! Come help find over 8,500 prize filled eggs! This egg hunt is open to all ages and is free to the public. The hunt is divided up into separate age groups: 2 & under, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8, 9&10, 11-15 and 16 & over.

There will be other activities and games sponsored by local non-profit organizations available during and after the egg hunt. The first egg hunt will begin at 9 a.m. for kids 2 and under. The remaining hunts will begin immediately after the first in order of age. Be sure to come early and allow for plenty of time to park! The hunt will take place on the softball fields at Prospector Park, located at 3015 N. Idaho Rd. details.

Emily relocated from Los Angeles in 2019 and now lives in Tempe with her husband and her two boys, Oskar & Dominik.
