East Valley Moms Blog turns 4!

In the spring of 2013 two people who had never met in person had a “short” two hour phone conversation and by the end had decided to work together to form the online community for moms known as East Valley Moms Blog.

3 months later we had applications from DOZENS of local moms wanting to share their voice online and help bring the community together.  Our first team of writers was 26 women strong.  4 years later we’ve heard the personal stories of more than 75 local women!

East Valley Moms Blog Turns 4

Our team today consists of:

2 co-founders-Lisa Glowacka & Michelle Alexander

3 Executive Team Members-Erica Jenkins, Shannon Costello and Teena Miller

19 amazing local volunteer writers who on a monthly basis share their personal mom stories, favorite things to do, household tips, recipes and MORE!

We also provide our readers with online seasonal guides offering “EVMB approved” family-friendly events around the Metro Phoenix area and the state of Arizona!

Plus we recently added 16 local Neighborhood Groups with 30 volunteer MOMbassadors.  With the recent creation of our neighborhood groups, we will be able to facilitate localized playgroups that will offer in-person connection and support between moms and families.

We’ve had over 20 sold out events including our most popular Breakfast with Santa held every December!

We have over 25,000 people just like you visit our site each month with a social media following of over 16,000!

We’ve had the pleasure of partnering with hundreds of local, family-owned businesses plus several national companies providing our readers with the best products and services for their families.

The next year will be an exciting one for East Valley Moms Blog!  We have two Mom’s Night Out events planned, several moms meet ups and playdates within our neighborhood groups as well as Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 2nd!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting East Valley Moms Blog, sharing our stories with your friends and families and attending our events.  You aren’t just supporting a website, but hearing our voices and supporting a team of moms.
