Come to Chandler for your good old fashion family-friendly fireworks show. Pack your bags, bring your blankets and chair, and don’t forget the sunscreen. Enjoy the award-winning park and all it has to offer – Playtopia, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and our newest addition corn hole or bring the fun from home – kites, Frisbees, sports balls, bikes, bubbles, jump ropes and so much more.

Food and non-alcohol beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening. After all the family made fun, sit back, relax, and watch the 20-25 minute fireworks show presented by the City of Chandler.

Splash around the East Valley

The east valley is home to many splash parks and pools.  Its a perfect inexpensive activity to get the kids outside in the summer months and stay cool.

Have the Best. Summer. Ever.

Summer is here and that could only mean one thing, the kids are out of school. We can all either panic or embrace the extended hours we have with them, we highly recommend the later!

What’s a bucket list? Well it’s a list comprised of fun things or activities you may want to do with the kiddos. Ready, lets go!

Staycation station

It seems that our summers in Arizona are short.  Sometime it can be difficult and costly to travel out of state for a fun-filled family vacation.  And sometimes it’s a Friday afternoon and you want to take a break from home life for the weekend!  What better way to spend the weekend with a night or two away at one of our amazing family friendly resorts that the Valley has to offer!

Summer slimming foods

That means sunshine and hot days are around the corner and you want to feel your best in your Summer clothes, right!?  It all starts with what you’re eating.  Making small changes and incorporating some healthy foods into your diet will get you there.  Here are 7 items to add to your menu this Summer to slim down and feel amazing.

Get into nature

Although camping might seem foreign or even scary to some, I think that camping with your kiddos gives them an appreciation of slowing down. It can get stressful if you aren’t prepared but I think the benefits of camping outweighs the short discomforts.

4th of July Looks

The main summer holiday is quickly approaching, and we want our readers to rock the most fashionable patriotic looks around town! Wave your patriotic flag high this year with some hot looks for the 4th of July Celebrations!

Summer ready car

Summer Car Kit - How to put together a summer car kit

Arizona summer is here, that means our days are full of splash pads, city pools, picnics in the shade, BBQs and pretty much bouncing around town all day.  I have started to keep a few things in my car for those occasions. It’s perfect for those afternoons when you decide to make an impromptu stop at the splash pad so they kiddo can get out a little energy before dinner.

Summer cinemas

I don’t know about your family, but we love summer movies! My daughter is already anxiously awaiting the release of The Secret Lives of Pets and Finding Dory.  Going to the movies is a great date to have with your kids. What beats eating popcorn, drinking an Icee, sitting in an air-conditioned theater and sharing some laughs with mom and/or dad? Sounds like a perfect outing to me!
